The Final Fight of Frankenstein's Monster

By Arik Cohen

Frankenstein's Monster had cornered poor Scarlett and she was desperate for survival. She watched the monster tear her husband's body limb from limb, and the memory gave her just enough adrenaline to lash out at the monster in one final, desperate plea for victory. In her frantic attack, she gripped one of the bolts in the side of its neck and pulled.

It came clean out and the monster stood, stunned. After a moment of calm, smooth and pure sand poured out of the hole at a rapid rate, pooling onto the ground to the left of the monster. The monster's body deflated, ending up as just a pile of rubbery skin, a large mound of sand heaped next to it.

It was Scarlett's turn to be stunned, but the stunning was short lived. She immediately thought up her plan to turn the sand into glass, and then she could say her home’s windows were made of Frankenstiein's Monster, and that would be really really cool.
